Welcome! I am personally committed to advancing the work of peace, justice, and reconciliation in the world. Now more than ever before, the world is in need of change agents, those who would dare to dream, be courageous enough to speak truth to power, and have what Barack Obama called the “audacity of hope.”
As a teacher, scholar and preacher, I am committed to standing in solidarity with all who are committed to these high ideals. In the last chapter of his last book, Where Do We Go From Here?: Chaos or Community, Martin Luther King Jr. called on the global community to envision the “world house” because all inhabitants of the globe are now neighbors. He understood that in local and global spaces, our destinies are now intertwined. We must learn how to be human together, in peace, justice and freedom.
Let us serve together in the common quest for community and human dignity.
